Nestled among exquisite gardens, trees and lawns lies a perfect jewel: a recreation of a 17th century chateau. Over seventy-five years ago, Colonel Jonathan Mayhew Wainwright fell in love with the chateau de Raincheval in France. Back in New York, he built a perfect replica for his family and friends. The result is an incredibly beautiful stone mansion overlooking the water, complete with lovely sunsets.
Today, Wainwright House plays host to a variety of social and corporate events. The mansion offers two formal dining rooms (music room & gallery), library, solarium, four bedrooms and a number of conference room options.
the fonrose facility is ideal for groups who prefer an intimate, private and casual retreat environment. This five bedroom/four bathroom setting includes a kitchen, living room, dining room, media room and
