The Evening Star is the former United States Coast Guard Buoy Tender. After being decommissioned it was converted to a 36 passenger tour boat and operated on the Erie Canal for more than 10 years. Since 2011, local residents and visitors to Peekskill have enjoyed the scenery from our canopy-covered open deck.
Cruises depart from Peekskill’s Riverfront Green Park and we cruise north to enjoy the dramatic beauty and rich history of the Hudson Highlands. Regularly scheduled public cruises, group tours and private charters available. Beer and wine is available on all cruises. You are welcome to bring your own snacks or picnic lunch aboard on any public cruise.
Catering is available for groups or private charters.
