The Powelton Club is a full service, private country club located 50 miles North of New York City, nestled in the heart of the Hudson River Valley in the hamlet of Balmville. Established in 1882, The Powelton Club is one of the oldest golf and tennis clubs in the United States. We offer our members a Devereux Emmet designed 18-Hole Golf Course, Five American Red Clay Tennis Courts, Two Swimming Pools and a beautiful Clubhouse.
The Powelton Club is the perfect location to fit your event needs and desires. We take the time to put together the perfect event for you. Rather than offering you standard packages, we start with a blank piece of paper and your ideas. We are more than happy to offer suggestions and provide menu samples for your convenience. The Powelton Club has hosted events as small as a four-person breakfast meeting to a two hundred person wedding. The pool area offers a beautiful backdrop for cocktail parties. If you are hosting a smaller function, our Grille Room and 19th Hole are the perfect intimate locations. We invite you to come up to the club for a tour of our beautiful facilities.
