Lisa Ann Straub is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, NY with
an A.O.S. Degree in Culinary Arts. There she also earned a certificate diploma for
wedding cake design. Lisa attended classes at the International School of
Confectionery Arts, acquiring a certificate diploma in sugar and chocolate.

Upon graduation in 1992, Lisa took the position of Executive Pastry Chef at The
Beekman 1766 Tavern, Rinebeck, NY. She then held the same position at The Grill
Room, NY, NY. Currently Lisa has been working at Veselka, located in the East
Village of NY.
