One of the most scenic Hudson Valley golf courses, Rondout Golf Club was originally a nine-hole course and part of what was then known as the Rondout Pool, Tennis and Golf Association. After a change of ownership, an additional nine holes were added to complete the current layout making it one of the most challenging Upstate NY golf courses. In time the Pool and Tennis portions of the name were discarded and the club became simply, Rondout Country Club, and finally, Rondout Golf Club. The new nine have been integrated into the original nine to create a challenging, yet playable course enjoyed by players of all skill levels. It’s a lovely Catskill Mountain public golf course that’s not only open to the public, but welcomes annual memberships as well.
The greens at RGC are notorious for their rolling undulations and false fronts. And when they’re running fast, they’re some of the toughest around.
Our Location and Facilities
Rondout Golf Club is located in Accord, NY, and boasts scenic views of the Shawangunks, Mohonk Mountain House tower, and Catskill Mountains. In an area rich in history, tradition, and beauty, RGC is appropriately at home.
RGC is a convenient drive from most parts of the Hudson Valley as well as the New York City Metropolitan area.
The wonderful facilities include Ivan’s Restaurant, which offers lunch, dinner, and catering services. With a large banquet area, Ivan’s hosts reunions, receptions, banquets, golf outings, and parties.
RGC also features a driving range, practice green, and, individual and group golf lessons from several on-staff teaching professionals.
