For as long as I can remember I have loved planning, entertaining and design. For many years I worked with some of the most incredibly talented floral designers in the Hudson Valley and created florals for hundreds of weddings. As marriage and children became a full time career, I backed away from the wedding scene to concentrate on creating a family of my own, but my love for creating and design never left my heart. In early 2000, I went back into floral design and realized that more couples wanted personal attention and guidance. I was being asked to stay longer onsite, handle logistics, coordinate bridal processions and manage last minute issues. In 2010 I began to take on full event planning and execution as a business, launching Monica Relyea Events.
