Having worked in the events industry for over 17 years, Lydia has grown and refined her planning skills through hands on experience. As the current owner of Charmed Places Lydia works with creative and dynamic clients searching for a unique event location and planning partner that reflects their personal style and vision. As a former Event Planner for Dean and Deluca, Director of Events for the boutique catering and planning company New York Caterers and Planners, and Independent Event Consultant for Aviator, a state of the art 170,000 sq. ft. sports and recreational facility in Brooklyn, New York, Lydia’s commitment to her clients always shines through with her meticulous approach to planning and her ability to see the big picture.

Although the goals and needs for private and corporate events differ, the event planning process is the same. It’s with this belief in mind that Lydia employs the same approach to planning each of her client events. This involves a thorough analysis of overall event goals and needs as well as conducting due diligence in the form of vendor research, negotiation, contracting and overall event planning management, including the coordination and execution of the events themselves. The end result is a successful event for everyone involved.

Cultivating ideas into reality is what keeps Lydia excited about her work and has attracted a wide range of clients over the years including:
